Every breath is a gift, every living thing a companion on the path, every moment getting to do what you love is a privilege. I live a life of gratitude and joy, always finding a way to remain awe-ful. I came to yoga on a very circuitous path. Graduating with a degree in Psychology from the University of Delaware, with a minor in East Asian Studies, I have always been captivated by how science, nature, community, and culture can come together to influence the inner workings of the mind, aging of the body, and health. Wellness, quality of life, communication; these are the focus.

It wasn’t until I quit working in a clinical psychiatric setting and took on being a personal trainer and group fitness instructor full time, as an ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist and AFAA certified professional, that I began to realize the true impact I could have. By addressing the needs of my students and clients’ in mind, body, and spirit, I have been able to share my true purpose.

After some time, knowing there was something missing, I began to practice yoga as a stress-reliever, to cross train for half marathon training and weight lifting, and to have an outlet for my spirit to really soar. During this transition I also took up barefoot running as a hobby. Beginning to spend more time in beloved nature, I also became a 200hour Registered Yoga Teacher, Core Strength Vinyasa Teacher, MELTmethod Instructor, and happy vegan. Our inborn ability to celebrate the simple joy of moving, and realign to the precious divine gift of the present moment is the delight our soul craves. This universal energy gives us fuel for the fire of inspiring others and bringing out the best in one another.

Aways geek-ing out on the latest research into mental well-being, nutrition, stress management, relationship nurturing, positive psychology, therapeutic and recovery techniques, kinesiology and biomechanics of movement, and combining these with the quiet less scientific components of what fosters true wellness, I am delighted to share what I learn with others. I now have the privilege of working with clients as a Holistic Wellness Coach and Movement Specialist, putting all of my training, education, skills, and zest for living one’s best life into a well rounded program. I am known for my ability to infect you with my smile. I will help you unearth the best parts of you which you may not even be able to see. My fervent passion for pushing you to your own edge to find an even brighter horizon has aided me in getting to do life altering work every day.
